Barış Oğur at a Glance

Born in 1979 and a graduate of Kadıköy Anatolian High School, Barış Oğur moved his career into real estate advisory after more than 15 years of sales and brand management experience in retail.

Following six years with RE/MAX Türkiye, he brought his 12 years of expertise together under the roof of Home & Business Capital. He specializes in Istanbul's most valuable Asian-side addresses (Fenerbahçe, Bağdat Avenue, Caddebostan, Suadiye), with a particular focus on family portfolios and long-term investment strategies.

He believes in long-lasting trust in client relationships, data-driven analysis in reading the market, and a measured yet decisive approach at the negotiating table. At every home viewing, he considers the change that truly owning that home will bring.

About the Way We Work

At Home & Business Capital, we focus exclusively on select districts of Istanbul's Asian side, backed by 12 years of market experience.

As of 2025, 2+1 apartments on Bağdat Avenue range from 8M to 15M TL, 3+1 apartments from 12M to 25M TL, while 4+1 and larger units can be priced from 20M TL up to 50M TL. Price differences of 15–25% are common between sub-areas such as Suadiye, Şaşkınbakkal and Erenköy.

Villa supply in Fenerbahçe is limited and market depth is low. A search period of 3–6 months for the right villa is normal. Title deed status, zoning plans, earthquake-code compliance and private garden boundaries must be reviewed with an expert advisor. Prices range from 25M to 100M+ TL.

Centered in the Kadıköy district, we hold active portfolios in Fenerbahçe, Caddebostan, Bağdat Avenue (the Suadiye–Erenköy corridor), Göztepe, Acıbadem, Moda and Caferağa. For each area we maintain a street-level value map and offer dedicated advisory.

Over the last 5 years, the highest appreciation has been observed in Caddebostan and the mid-to-upper segment of Bağdat Avenue. For rental yield, Acıbadem and Erenköy remain attractive.
